I think I messed up...
I'm in the post-sear according to other players and I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be here. I'm level 3 w/like 10 skills. Some random guy told me he'd help me start out and to go to 'post-sear' with him, so I did and now he's not talking to me, etc. Am I screwed or what? Anyone care to help me out on what to be doing, etc?

Your a decent level. Most of the guys in the first area are around lvl 3 aswell. You'll do fine!
I got one of my characters the Defender of Ascalon title and an other one went to post sear at lvl 2. It's basicly just how quickly you would want to advance in the game. (That level 2 character has max armour and is in Droknar's Forge currently)

Aye right! You would of been past level four due to all the needed primary quests (like the ones needed before some missions).
Or was this via the travel exploit.

travel exploit was only possible at level 20 (at least I assume you're referring to the canthan ambassador @ GH exploit)

Fresh out of pre-searing you should run around doing quests for NPCs. It is the best balance of getting money, experience, and fun. Don't worry about builds until you have a lot more skills. Read the skills that you have and and play around with them. Try to build a synergizing skill bar out of what you have available.

My friends little brother (who has a little bit of asbergers and is 7 sounds a little like you karbonize). Always demanding things 'right now'.
Btw you get tanned hide squares from a material trader or something that you have salvaged.

You can buy them from material vendors or salvage them from loot. You should read up on this stuff from a place like http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page. There are also some useful, if not outdated, guides here at guildwars guru.

How was I demanding it right now? And yes, I do have a very, very, very mild asbergers syndrome...I repeat VERY, VERY, VERY mild.

If someone else pointed this out sorry; one thing you should know is that you were probably the subject of a silly joke pursuading you to go to post at such a low level. Technically yes you can go at level 2+ and be fine; however you are missing much of the tutorial stage of the game and as such might not be as familiarised with the game as you could be.
Also you could have accumulated a few more free skills in pre, thus making them less of a money grabber. They seem cheap at first, but when you start capping and each one costs you 1k.
Ofc you have more than one slot so you could chose to play this char as a test and then run another one once you are more experienced.

Pre-Searing is generally the best way to level up early on in Prophesies, so it's no suprize that some people like to stay there until level 7, 8 or even higher. It is however no big deal if your level 2 or 3 to be in post searing.
Prophesies is, however, tough in terms of income as a starting chapter. You'll find yourself just scraping by until you get to the crystal desert and onward.
